How the pieces stack
Think of it as three jobs, not one fixture. Something overhead for general warmth. Something low so nobody trips on the way to the door. And something aimed at whatever is worth seeing out there. Put them on different circuits, because the dinner setting and the cleaning up setting are not the same.
